Dépendance

The Dépendance is a separate complex of rooms, located close to the Rupestrian Church of San Pietro Barisano. It is about 300 meters from the main building of the Locanda di San Martino.

During their stay, guests of the Dépendance are welcome to use all facilities and services of the main building of the Locanda.

Since check-in/check-out and breakfast take place in the main building of the Locanda, we do not recommend the Dépendance rooms for those who have mobility issues or difficulty climbing stairs.

Junior Family Suite depéndance (sqm. 60) – Separate building

The Junior Family Suite Depéndance rooms are located at ca. 350 meters from the Locanda’s main building. Traditional room in a wide cave with independent access. The room faces a shared courtyard in the Sassi of Matera.

This room is not recommended for those who have difficulties walking and/or climbing stairs.

Junior Suite Dépendance (sqm. 35) – Separate building

The Junior Suite Dépendance rooms are located at ca. 350 meters from the Locanda’s main building. Traditional rooms in a cave with shared terrace overlooking the Sassi of Matera. Balcony, private terrace and jacuzzi are on demand. Not recommended for guests who have difficulties walking and/or climbing stairs.

Superior Dépendance (sqm. 35) – Separate building

The Superior Dépendance is 350 meters on foot from the Locanda di San Martino. These are traditional cave rooms overlooking a common courtyard in the Sassi di Matera. Not recommended if you have problems walking or climbing stairs.

Cave Houses

Apartments in the Sassi located ca. 75 meters from the Locanda di San Martino’s main building. Guests of the cave-houses can enjoy all amenities and services of the hotel.

Cave house 39 (sqm. 40)

Typical Sassi apartment ca. 40 sqm with indipendent access.
